Job Description

The job is to programme the efficient deployment of culturally appropriate rabblement support to meet identified GOALS and support needs.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Clear understanding of the role and function of the local authority and it's customer services. Experience of working in a customer facing role. Experience of managing risk and ensuring the best outcome for the customer. Experience of working effectively as part of a team. Experience within customer service or customer contact Centre and direct customer contact via the telephone. Working toward and meeting KPI's and service level targets. Ability to communicate effectively - orally and in writing. Interpersonal skills. Clear understanding of the need to effectively manage risk. Able to utilize information technology. Knowledge of how to deliver excellent customer service. Knowledge of Adult Social Care and it's priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Diplomatic and tactful in dealing with sensitive confidential matters. Able to learn and process new information quickly and accurately. Organized and able to respond to conflicting demands and to priorities work. Able to identify and record critical information and demonstrate quick thinking and problem solving. Able to signpost and advise of more appropriate services. Fast and accurate keyboard skills with good attention to detail. Able to deal with sensitive enquires with empathy. Able to work on own initiative. Ability to remain calm and deal effectively with a pressurized workload. Able to effectively manage contacts from a range of sources. An understanding of, and the ability to apply this to all situations. Must be able to perform all duties and tasks with reasonable adjustment, where appropriate, in accordance with the provision of the Equality Act 2010. A flexible approach to work. Good standard of education. Computing Qualification. A good understanding of computer systems. Knowledge of Community Care Services. Ability to communicate effectively - orally and in writing. Interpersonal skills. Commitment to National Occupational Standards. Commitment to the principles underlying the County Council's Equal Opportunities Standards.
