Job Description

We are looking for a rounded commercial accountant with strong experience built inside an e-commerce based business or multi-channel retailer. You will be adopting a joined-up approach with the finance, operations and data analytics teams to champion insights on new ranges, promotions, seasonality, peak trading and star performers for the business with due recognition of financial impact.

Key responsibilities:

• Own the financial value add insights of actuals versus budget and ROI.
• Assist the board in determining strategy in order to attract new, and retain existing, customers across digital marketing channels.
• Work seamlessly with key associated internal teams.
• Track and assess e-commerce performance (daily, weekly, monthly, seasonally, etc.), reporting back to the wider business.

This is not simply a role for a qualified accountant to consolidate the reporting from others or the generation of more reports – we genuinely seek an individual who wants the answers that the data and financial information generate.
