Job Description

A Long established, independent carpet & furniture retailer situated in Nottingham require an extremely versatile individual who is able to cover a range of tasks -

  • Responsible for inbound sales queries
  • Dealing with customer’s general queries, both by phone & e-mail
  • Processing new orders and inputting these onto the internal system and producing purchase orders.
  • Maintaining product base on internal system, ensuring all information is up to date – full training will be given for using our in house software
  • Liaising with suppliers, checking progress of customer’s orders and answering any queries suppliers may have with purchase orders you have produced
  • Producing professional correspondence to both customers and suppliers
  • Responsible for arranging delivery dates with customers

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The successful applicant must possess a confident and assured telephone manner. They must have strong numeracy and literacy skills and be able to conduct themselves in a highly professional manner. A keen eye for detail is required and the ability to adapt to a variety of situations.
