Reporting into the Head of Corporate Tax Compliance and Reporting, you’ll be working in a fast paced and challenging environment, focusing on key aspects of corporate tax within a complex international business. Working with other Tax Analysts, as the Senior Tax Analyst you’ll be responsible for all aspects of UK Corporation Tax, compliance and risk management, financial reporting, and monitoring and forecasting global corporate tax payments.
You’ll be liaising with HMRC, external auditors, Group Accounting and the wider business, including tax accounting training for subsidiaries.
You’ll also be responsible for:
Preparation and submission of UK Corporate Tax returns in accordance with defined processes
Other UK Corporate Tax compliance activities including Corporate Tax payments, SAO, DPT, CT61, Treasury requests and HMRC enquiries
Assist with monitoring JLR Group tax compliance on a global basis
Work with the Head of Corporate Tax Compliance and Reporting to produce consolidated tax financials for the JLR Group and company level statutory accounts disclosures
Monitor and forecast the global Corporate Tax charge and associated cash payments
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
As a Senior Tax Analyst, you’ll need to have experience of UK Corporate Tax and accounting processes, to be qualified by an accredited accounting body (CIMA/ACCA/ACA), and to have at a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience. It would also be beneficial if you are CTA qualified. You’ll also need to be resilient, an excellent communicator, and results driven where you can work independently, demonstrating drive and perseverance and to have the ability to deliver in a complex, high demanding, challenging environment.
