You will:
Balance and maintain accurate ledgers
Monthly bank reconciliation to zero outstanding
Match purchase orders with invoices
Coordinate bank deposits and report financial results on a regular basis to management
Monitor office expenses and tally and enter cash receipts
Pay vendor invoices and track bank account balances
Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers
Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data – including data entry into MRP/stock management systems
Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply
Maintain and update a list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development
Work with CTO and other Directors to complete duties as needed
The role will include office administration, including telephone, scanning, attending meetings and setting up appointments.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and QBO. Experience working in accounts payable and receivable, general ledger and/or procurement. As a Finance Assistant / Ledger Clerk, you will take ownership of our sales and purchase ledgers, ensuring that invoices are received and raised in an accurate and timely manner.
