Job Description

Duties:

• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Bank Reconciliations (multi-currency)
• Monthly management accounts
• Reconciliation of suppliers each month
• Accruals and prepayments
• Accrued and deferred income
• Stock, goods in transit and goods in production.
• PAYE reconcilations
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Fixed asset register
• Vat returns including to EU countries and intrastat reporting
• Assist with the leading of accounts staff

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

IT literate with strong/advanced Excel skills Strong written and verbal communications skills Strong commercial sense Proactive and driven approach Ability to work quickly under pressure High attention to detail Quickbooks experience essential Must have experience of working in a similar accounting role Strong skills in cross border vat and intrastat reporting
