Job Description

We are looking for a Warehouse Admin & Dispatch Operative to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is based within the main building in the upstairs storage area but will require you to prepare collection for couriers by moving stock via a conveyor belt to the main warehouse. Some items are heavy, and you will need to be physically fit to be able to carry out this role. In addition to picking, packing and dispatching goods, this role includes a certain amount of administration

WORKING PATTERNS

Our showroom/shop is open from 8.30—17.30 Mon to Fri and 9.00—17.00 Sat. We are closed Sundays and Bank Holidays.

A full-time role will work 40hrs per week on a Rota basis within the hours stated above. This will include alternate weeks Saturday working. Part time roles will be set hours as agreed for the relevant role advertised.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Accurately picking, packing and preparing goods for delivery to customers

· Accurately processing paperwork, including use of our Ibcos Gold stock management system

· Moving stock around, using lifting gear where needed. Regular lifting/manual handling

· Checking goods against the order to ensure accuracy of items picked and recording and raising discrepancies with the appropriate person so that the customer can be informed

· Transporting goods from the stockroom to the warehouse and loading the stock with the courier

· Liaising with couriers on collections, anomalies etc.

· Assist with stock checks as and when requested

· Keeping work areas and walkways clean, tidy and safe

· Admin work including registering machine sales with relevant manufacturers and adding invoices onto the ibcos gold system

· Covering holidays for other roles, specifically processing sales orders and liaising with customers and supporting with receiving goods into the warehouse and booking in of stock

· To primarily support the Retail Operations Manager but also undertake such other duties appropriate to the post that may be required

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Experience in a similar role picking, packing & dispatching deliveries for online orders · Excellent planning and organizational skills · Good attention to detail, numeracy and IT skills · Good communication skills · Enthusiastic, approachable, polite and helpful manner · Ability to remain calm and friendly when under pressure · Ability to work with minimal supervision, and as part of a supportive team · A good team player with a willingness to contribute fully and flexibly as part of the overall team · Reliable and trustworthy · Committed to providing excellent customer service Experience: Dispatching goods in a warehouse: 2 years (Preferred). Administration and processing paperwork/invoices: 2 years (Preferred).
