Job Description

We are looking for someone to support in the relationships and business development of our services based in the Midlands, Norfolk and Berkshire areas. This will include liaising with commissioners, managers, hospital directors and senior members of staff.

The post holder will be responsible for maximizing the effective and efficient utilization of beds across our facilities and will incorporate elements of administration, marketing and sales.

We are looking for an individual who enjoys working at a fast pace, can multi-task, adapt quickly to changing situations and remain calm and professional in demanding situations.

Must have excellent time management skills and an eye for detail. Will also be required to update our web developers of any changes needed to our websites etc.

Will require occasional travel to the services (Covid permitting).

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must have experience of working to targets within a performance management framework. Previous experience in a health setting an advantage. Previous experience of developing and monitoring spreadsheets. Previous experience of offering excellent customer service. Excellent IT skills including word and excel. Good organizational skills. Ability to priorities workloads. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Good knowledge of clinical terminology. Ability to implement administration systems and databases. Ability to generate ideas and respond quickly to changes in practice. Self-motivated and a positive thinker. Works to deadlines. Ability to work with a wide range of people. Supportive to colleagues of all disciplines. Flexible approach to work. Conscientious and understanding of accountability. Smart appearance and professional manner. Committed to personal and professional development. Motivated to maintaining high standards in a changing service. Experience: Administration: 5 years (Preferred). Business Development Administration: 2 years (Preferred).
