Job Description

Your role is to get all over the numbers and take them out to the business. You will play a crucial role in helping drive operational efficiencies. You will shine a valuable light on weekly labour and material variances, factors affecting margin and profit, drivers of production success. Managing a team of 3 initially you will enjoy mentoring and developing talented colleagues.

This role is focused on added value projects and improvements, whilst there are elements of 'business as usual reporting’ it is a position for someone who enjoys delivering positive change and challenging the status quo.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You need to have a track record of success as management accountant / senior management accountant / site accountant within a manufacturing business. CIMA or equivalent is a pre-requisite. You need to be someone who finds it easy to build relationships with others - this is a role with lots of interaction with colleagues across the site at all levels and in all functions. A strong knowledge of Excel is required.
