Job Description

Duties Include:

• Bookkeeping duties including purchase and sales ledger processing and journal posting
• Preparing VAT returns
• Assisting with self assessment tax returns
• Liaising with clients and resolving queries
• Working closely with qualified accountants to assist with high value client accounts
• Assisting with Payroll processing
• Working in a client facing capacity
• Working to strict deadlines

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

2+ years experience within a Practice bookkeeping/accounts role Strong communication skills Knowledge of double entry bookkeeping is desirable Knowledge of financial IT systems Ideally studying AAT or looking to study ACA/ACCA in the future
