Your Role:
Your role as Practice Manager/Senior Accountant will be based at the newly refurbished office in Leeds.
Our client is looking for a candidate who has a minimum of 6 years post ACCA qualification and has extensive Accountancy Practice experience. This role has an opportunity to progress within the business!
The requirements for this role: You must have experience using IRIS, Xero and Quickbooks. IRIS software experience is essential and is the back bone of this company.
Duties (but not limited too):
- Ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the Leeds office
- Managing a team of up to 8 people- reviewing and delegating workload
- Ensuring efficient and professional communication between clients at all times
- Managing the year-end accounts process, plus reviewing and finalising accounts
- Month End Management
- Tax Planning
- Providing, updating, and reporting on information relating to Compliance Performance
- Monitoring of workloads and using resources efficiently
- Preparing VAT returns
- Manging timesheet and jobs using IRIS
- Bookkeeping duties using Quickbooks & xero
