Job Description
Responsibility for the Purchase Ledger Invoicing and associated processes.
Daily monitoring and maintenance of the Accounts Payable Outlook Inbox
Investigating supplier queries and providing solutions
Reconciliation of Supplier Statements
Preparing and processing monthly Supplier Payment Runs
Preparing and processing monthly Staff Expenses
Updating contact details of customers – ensuring details are correct and costs are charged accurately
Matching and processing Purchase Orders on Sage and bespoke company software package
Working to deadlines and ensuring tasks are managed accordingly.
Providing support to the wider team when required
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Great attention to detail
Ability to meet deadlines
Happy to take on Ad-Hoc tasks
Self starter, who can work independently and as part of a team.
Practical experience in Purchase Ledger with understanding of accounting principles and Accounts Payable processes.
Strong, accurate Data Entry Skills.
Strong all-round IT Skills, including excel.
Committed to meet month end deadlines.
