Job Description
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
- Work on accounts receivable, issue invoices, post receipts and provide debtor reports
- Chase customers for outstanding debt
- Work on accounts payable, assist with posting invoices, prepare payment runs and perform supplier reconciliations
- Prepare daily bank reconciliations
- Review and post employee expenses
- Assist the Finance manager in the preparation of monthly/yearly accounts
- Assist with ad hoc accounting projects as and when needed
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Previous experience working in a finance function although will consider those with a finance degree
- Advanced level German
- Good working knowledge of Excel
- Previous SME experience would be an asset
- Strong interpersonal skills and strong ability to work within a team
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
