Job Description
- Conduct thorough due diligence processes, evaluating financial and operational aspects of potential transactions.
- Analyze financial statements, projections, and other essential documents to identify risks and opportunities.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations, effectively communicating findings and recommendations to clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal and tax advisors, to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
- Assist in financial modelling and valuation exercises to support decision-making processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market conditions relevant to corporate finance activities.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the firm's corporate finance division by actively participating in business development efforts.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Chartered Accountant qualification (ACA or ACCA) is a must-have requirement for this role.
- Genuine desire and enthusiasm to transition from audit to the dynamic field of corporate finance.
- Prior experience in transaction services and due diligence would be beneficial, but not essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts clearly.
- Highly motivated self-starter with a proactive approach to work.
- Strong team player, capable of collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders.
