Job Description
- Take ownership of holding companies' financials, including monthly result preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, and VAT returns.
- Provide detailed commentary on variances between actual and budgeted results, offering valuable insights.
- Support year-end statutory accounts and audit, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process, contributing your expertise and analytical skills.
- Prepare monthly consolidation reports for our private equity house, facilitating informed decision-making.
- Respond to financial inquiries, leveraging your data interpretation skills to provide comprehensive responses.
- Mentor and develop staff members, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
- Maintain the system, ensuring the accuracy of the chart of accounts and financial periods.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks, such as cash forecasting, with meticulous attention to detail.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Hold a Chartered Accountant or Certified Practicing Accountant qualification.
- Possess strong analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and a desire to delve deeper into data.
- Demonstrate commercial and business awareness, understanding the broader context of financial operations.
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excel in deadline-oriented environments, delivering high-quality results within time constraints.
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified.
- Have experience in multi-currency reporting
- Possess knowledge of consolidation processes.
