Job Description
- Development of Finance Systems functionality and processes across the Saga estate
- Providing appropriate challenge and support to and Commercial Finance teams on business requirements, process design and efficiency improvements
- Providing Project Management skills and expertise to Finance, Change and IT teams to support the specification, scheduling, design, development,
- testing and integration of change
- Driving system development, implementation and change to deliver process improvements and enhanced Finance functionality
- Continuous design and improvement of finance processes to satisfy business requirements and support decision making business operations
- Continuously driving Finance improvements to drive efficiency and enhanced functionality for the business and its customers.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Demonstrable competence of working in core Finance areas
- Strong technical skills and ability to learn new products, systems and processes
- Excellent attention to detail is a must as is the ability to understand existing processes
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with a range of colleagues at varying levels of seniority
- High integrity and objectivity capable of selling ideas and implementing change
- Analytically strong with the ability to challenge and think outside the box
- Preferred understanding of Finance systems such as Workday Financials
