Bookkeeper
Full-time, Temporary
Job Description
- The bookkeeper will be responsible for the preparation of timely, accurate management information.
- Responsibilities include all transaction processing through to the preparation of financial information for both internal and external reporting.
- Financial reconciliations including bank and balance sheet control accounts.
- Month end preparations and posting journal entries including prepayments and accruals, fixed assets and depreciation, payroll journal etc.
- Manage annual accounts submissions and information for accountants.
- Sales ledger management and credit control duties.
- Present financial information to the management team at monthly meetings from sage.
- Purchase ledger and Supplier payments processing.
- Daily cashflow reporting.
- Overview payroll time sheets submission to bureau.
- Preparation of VAT returns
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- QBE or part qualified
- Two years experience in a similar role.
- Understanding of CIS reporting
- Good standard of excel.
- Sage line 50 and Xero experience
