Job Description
- Reconciling balance-sheet items and ensuring the accuracy of the financial statements
- Managing the journal process (accruals and prepayments) and ensuring that all entries are posted in a timely and accurate manner
- Supporting the monthly and yearly management accounts and providing financial analysis to the business
- Building relationships with key stakeholders and working closely with other members of the finance team
- Ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial regulations
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proven experience as a Accountant or similar role
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Studying towards ACCA or CIMA qualification
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial systems
