Financial Accountant

Job Description
- Preparation of monthly accounts and financial reports.
- Analysis and interpretation of financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Preparation of budgets, forecasts and variance analysis.
- Ensure that all financial statements and reports comply with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Assist in the development of business plans and strategies.
- Provide financial analysis to support key business decisions.
- Work closely with the wider finance team to ensure a coordinated approach to financial reporting and analysis.
- Support the year-end audit process.
- Provide financial support to other departments as required.
- Ensure that financial processes and controls are in place and adhered to.
- Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work to targets and deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other finance software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA
- Qualified by experience will also be considered.
