Job Description
- Work closely with the Finance Manager as part of the team managing the company’s global accounting, tax, financial operations and compliance functions
- Supervise and review the work of more junior team members, including managing escalations
- Prepare month end and year end reporting
- Implement and improve revenue recognition policies and procedures and manage the reporting
- Be a subject matter expert in technical accounting matters
- Key point of contact for resolving tax and audit items
- Be a trusted business partner and advisor to other departments
- Help manage working capital and drive improvements in accounts receivable and payables performance
- Design, implement and maintain improvements to the company’s financial reporting systems including application implementations
- Prepare and review key internal and external financial reports
- Be responsible for and drive key finance projects to completion
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Prior experience with financial audits
- Professional qualification (ACA/CA/ICAS or similar)
- Ambitious, intellectually curious and motivated to be part of building and scaling a global software company
- Humble, low-ego and able to build trusted working relationships cross-functionally
