Job Description
- Prepare, review and submit regulatory returns.
- Ensure that all regulatory returns are submitted accurately and on a timely basis, in line with internal controls and procedures.
- Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and ensure that the business is informed and compliant.
- Assist with the preparation of the annual statutory accounts and liaise with auditors during the audit process.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that all regulatory reporting requirements are met.
- Provide support to the wider finance team as required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in regulatory reporting within the insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of UK regulatory requirements and guidelines.
- Experience in financial accounting and reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
