Job Description
- Manage the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Provide financial guidance to the senior management team to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure that financial transactions are accurate and comply with accounting regulations.
- Manage the preparation of financial statements, VAT returns, and other financial reports.
- Oversee the management of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Manage the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
- Ensure that the company's financial policies and procedures are up to date and
- comply with accounting regulations.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
- Monitor and manage cash flow and financial risk.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualification is required.
- Four years post-qualification experience in a finance role.
- Experience of intergroup transactions is desirable.
- Real estate experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience of implementing and using financial systems.
- Experience in VAT returns, statutory accounts, and financial reporting is essential.
- Experience in using Xero, Sage, or Quickbooks is preferred.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of the real estate industry is preferred.
