Job Description
- Manage team of Project Accountants and Junior Project Accountants
- Preparation of monthly financial reports
- Supporting Project Managers in day-to-day project finance management
- Preparation of monthly invoices for clients
- Preparation and provision of robust financial forecasting with full commentary
- Presenting month end figures and key insights to Project Managers
- Working with Project Managers and providing commentary on variances and risks
- Providing advice to Project Managers regarding budgets and FX rates
- Keep track of programmer budgets and ensure funds are allocated to agreed budget lines
- Analyzing budgets and identifying risks
- Overseeing project audits and ensuring a timely response is given to audit requests
- Developing systems and processes to ensure efficient and effective management of project finances and reporting
- Providing oversight and support to the Regional Finance Managers to ensure that forecasts are accurate and realistic
- Posting accurate journals
- Preparation of Balance Sheet reports and reconciliations
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Good understanding of budget/forecast processes and tools
- Understanding of technical accounting as it relates to projects
- Strong stakeholder liaison skills
- Two years' experience in not for profit sector
