Job Description
- Produce accurate financial reports to specific deadlines
- Submit quarterly VAT returns
- Reconciliation balance sheets accounts
- Keep abreast of financial regulations and legislation changes
- Process daily cash book reconciliation
- Develop external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, and statutory organizations such as the Inland Revenue
- Monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts.
- Process monthly journals, including accruals, pre-payments, depreciation, etc.
- Undertake any other duties as may be reasonably requested by the Management.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Previous accounting experience (four years minimum) - Essential
- Excellent verbal, written communication and organization skills - Essential
- Excellent account management and Customer Service - Essential
- Excellent time management and attention to detail - Essential
- Previous industry experience (1-2 years minimum) - Desirable
- Previous database system use - Desirable
- CIMA qualified - Desirable
- Strong time management, planning and organizational skills
- Approachable with the added benefit of being a keen problem solver
- Full UK drivers' license
