Job Description
- Working with the UK and International finance teams to produce and finalise monthly management accounts and financial reporting
- Continually improve the current reporting pack and produce monthly consolidated management accounts
- Help with regulatory compliance of US entity and produce financial reporting (until a local Finance team is recruited)
- Act as a finance business partner to the UK and International operational management teams
- Ownership of cash flow and billing forecasting, and support Group Finance Director in annual budgeting process
- Work with and challenge project owners to ensure the integrity of forecasted numbers
- Produce project and highlight good / bad performance of projects
- Reporting to internal and external stakeholders
- Ownership and continual development of finance systems
- Support Group Finance Director on commercial strategic decision making for the business
- Ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required
- Production of group statutory accounts
- Work with auditors as first point of contact for any queries on group audit
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CA) - likely gained in audit
- Effective communicator - written and verbal
- Ambitious character, looking to develop your own career and the career of your team
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
