Financial Accountant

Job Description
- Leading the finance team to deliver the high-quality annual statutory accounts,
- Preparing useful, reliable, and timely management information, including Board reports,
- Ensuring robust and reliable finance services are in place
- Leading the development of financial policies and procedures to ensure the effective management of the charity's finances
- Supporting financial planning and analysis and scenario modelling for future initiatives
- Leading on delivering the charities new strategic objectives from a financial perspective
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Have at least five years' experience in a senior financial management role, preferably in the charity sector
- Hold experience leading audits and of charity accounting and reporting standards
- Be experienced managing and leading a finance team
- Have excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated previous ability to work collaboratively with senior leaders to support strategic decision-making
- Be available from mid-May
