Job Description
Working on all financial processes - Invoicing, Purchasing, Debtors, Reconciliation
Issuing Invoices to our customers
Sending Purchase Orders
Chasing and collecting payment from customers
Reconciling all transactions on Xero
Forecast and manage Cashflow
Produce Monthly Management Level Accounts
Quantify and submit VAT and CIS returns
Run Payroll monthly
Report to the Directors with timely and accurate financial information
Growing Cash in Bank
Ongoing margin and profit improvements
Accuracy and Timeliness of Bookkeeping records and Management accounts
Compliance - Meeting all reporting and filing requirements and deadlines
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to remain effective even when working under pressure
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
A driven and optimistic team player
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Honesty, Integrity and reliability
Flexibility in approach and outlook when the situation demands
Experience working in a similar role within the Construction Industry
Good Knowledge of Bookkeeping procedures and principles
Good Knowledge and understanding of VAT
Proficiency with Excel and other basic computing functions
Good Math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
Comprehensive Xero accounting systems experience
Competent and experienced with calculating and submitting CIS returns
Competent and experienced with running Payroll
AATQB Certified or equivalent
AAT Level 3 or equivalent
Xero Advisor Certification
Xero Payroll Certification
