Job Description
- Preparation of statutory and financial statements.
- Supporting the senior team with the preparation of audits.
- Preparation of tax returns and assessments for a range of organizational structures.
- Assist with VAT returns.
- Rental accounts.
- Bookkeeping.
- Manage workflow and ensure client work is completed and delivered to a high standard and in a timely manner.
- Liaise with HMRC on client matters.
- Liaise with clients, attending meetings and helping with queries.
- Support with general accountancy services and business advice.
- Work closely with senior team members.
- Promote and strive for customer service excellence.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects as required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- An ACCA or ACA studier or ready to begin.
- Good basic knowledge across accountancy services and some experience of working in practice.
- A can-do attitude to problem solving.
- Self-motivated and able to manage your own deadlines and workflow.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
- Personable and friendly.
