Job Description
- Undertake the preparation of standard monthly account journals
- Posting onto the accounting system.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
- Provide assistance to the Accountant in the preparation of the Management reporting pack.
- Prepare a summary of recommended payments.
- Process cash book entries and invoices into the accounting system and update Invoice trackers as appropriate.
- Prepare sales invoices for review by the Finance Manager, incorporating changes as instructed.
- Prepare VAT approval and submission.
- Undertake supplier statement reconciliations.
- Support the annual audit process.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting concepts, systems and processes.
- Experience of working to timetables and strict procedures.
- Strong Microsoft Excel Skills
