Job Description
Processing income and expenditure transactions.
Provide regular financial reports (weekly, monthly, and yearly).
Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
Preparing and submitting VAT, CIS and submissions.
Ensure timely processing of payroll and pension data.
Reconciliation against various accounts.
Submitting dormant accounts returns.
Liaising with clients and accountants on the phone and via email to deal with any queries.
Managing financial deadlines.
Producing invoices on behalf of clients.
Monitoring client mailboxes for paperwork.
Constant review of business processes to ensure efficiency.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Invoicing
Payroll
VAT
CIS returns
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
Good time management and prioritization skills.
Can communicate confidently in writing, in person and by telephone.
Is numerate and able to analyses data, delivering results in various reports.
Pays attention to details, spots discrepancies and missing information.
Able to work on own initiative and in a team environment.
Must have a positive and flexible attitude.
CIS experience an advantage.
QuickBooks and Xero would be ideal but not essential.
Experience of 'working in practice’ an advantage ·
Two years of accounts experience.
Accountancy Manager/bookkeeper an advantage.
