Job Description
- Bookkeeping duties for your client portfolio
- Maintain client accounting records - mainly using cloud accounting software
- Complex client tasks, including purchase ledger, sales ledger, bank reconciliations, journals and reporting
- Post year end adjustments
- Post month end adjustments, including prepayments, accruals and depreciation
- Prepare CIS returns
- Prepare VAT returns
- Prepare management accounts and accompanying information
- Help train and support clients where necessary
- Telephone and video meeting liaison
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- ACA
- ACCA
- FCCA
- Advanced IT skills (including, Word, Excel, QuickBooks Online and Xero)
- Punctual and attentive to support a busy team
- Able to self-check own work
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with the team, clients and suppliers
- Good organizational and prioritization skills - strive to reach all deadlines
- Comfortable in training clients on cloud accounting software
- Adaptable, keen and flexible approach
- Professional telephone manner
- Ability to use own initiative and work autonomously, as well as part of a team
- Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom
