Job Description
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of all company accounts, bank reconciliations, creditors, debtors and payroll payments
- Manage payroll accurately, especially for commission, new starters, and auto enrolment
- Ensure VAT accounting and reporting is accurate and timely
- Provide management team with departmental, customer and overall financial performance data reporting as required
- Document, follow, update and ensure fit for purpose invoicing, debtors, credit account opening, purchase order, and petty cash processes
- Ensure item costing analysis is in place, accurate and understood by all internal stakeholders
- Ensure accounting function is correctly resourced to achieve its objectives
- Ensure statutory accounts are filed within 60 days of the end of the financial year
- Ensure the key stakeholders (banks, accountant, HMRC, finance brokers, and suppliers etc.) are performing in line with the business's requirements
- Take ownership of the day-to-day management of key stakeholder relationships
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience of managing Invoice Discounting
- Experience with Group accounting
- Experience in creating and managing budgets and forecasts and cashflow forecast
