Job Description
Processing UK Company payroll on a monthly basis.
Liaising with Overseas payroll providers.
Making sure all new starters and leavers are treated correctly
Making sure any payroll adjustments are properly recorded.
Record keeping and online returns to HMRC.
Annual P11d expenses and benefits returns.
Calculating accounts journals in respect of monthly payroll.
Managing the Auto enrolment pension scheme.
Liaising with our pension and benefits providers.
Working closely with the Financial Accountant to ensure all payroll liabilities are paid on a timely basis and compliance regulations are met
Understand the role of the Finance and Sales Ledger Assistant in respect of the sales ledger to be able to cover when necessary.
Ensuring correct procedures are followed for all accounting procedures.
Reconciliation of bank accounts and credit cards.
Preparation of weekly payment run.
Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.
Proactively establish and maintain good communication and liaison between management team and other employees in the Company.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Previous hands on experience within payroll
Effective IT Skills to include Excel (pivot tables / look ups)
