Job Description
- Managing Assistant Accountants
- Reconcile, analyses and clear all balance sheet accounts
- Maintain fixed asset module incl creating assets, running depreciation and disposals
- Monthly review of account
- Analyze and prepare cash forecast for Group reporting
- Confirm cash pooling balance
- Analyze, prepare and submit quarterly Vat Returns
- Organize payment of VAT
- Reconcile intercompany balances monthly with parent company
- Manage external audit including back up and evidence
- Produce statutory accounts
- Weekly sales reconciliation for consignment stores
- Support the Senior Accountant with ad hoc queries, analysis and projects
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Financial Statements - preparing base documents and draft/final Financial Statements
- Strong excel skills - Pivot tables, vlookups, able to read and understand formula's
- VAT return preparation
- Strong reconciliation skills
- Excellent communication
- Tax Pack preparation
- Balance Sheet account reconciliations
