Job Description

• Work as part of a multidisciplinary deal team to deliver bespoke financing solutions for clients
• Define and set the parameters for the deployment of capital in the context of risk reward
• Manage the pre trade governance process across Credit, Market and Country Risk as well as capital teams
• On-going risk management of a retained risk portfolio which includes bespoke and illiquid credit risk
• Engage sales, syndicate and clients to provide trade ideas which complement the risk management objectives of the desk

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Fundamental credit analysis and familiarity with a capital markets deck/cap structure analysis
• Experience working in a deal team to deliver primary financing solutions
• Experience working in one or more of the following areas: Structured Credit Trading, Credit Structuring, Leveraged Finance
• Strong analytical & communication skills
• Bachelors or equivalent in an analytical subject

This role encompasses the performance of regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the relevant regulatory authorities to carry out such activities.
