Job Description
The role will provide Project/Program Management & Leadership, both for enhancement projects on existing reporting and data solutions, as well as on the implementation of new solutions related to reporting and data interfaces. It is a hybrid hands-on Project, Business Analysis and development leadership role, providing management and delivery support to the Project Team resources within the GO-Tech Financial Reporting team. The role requires excellent Business-partner Relationship Management skills, as well as a good understanding of application infrastructure, key business performance metrics and system integrations.
The role achieves goals by direct management of the Project Delivery team, including WBD employees, independent contractors, on- & off- shore support partners, vendors, and all types of external technology resources. Collaboration with other WBD Technology groups and business unit resources is essential.
This role is also responsible to mentor and train project personnel, such as Project Managers, Reporting Business Analysts and Reporting Developers, in-line with best practices, project requirements and WBD processes.
Essential Job Functions
- Lead point person for all reporting and data related project work within the GO-Tech portfolio
- Responsible for understanding business processes & requirements in-depth and effectively apply them to appropriate application and technical solutions, through the successful delivery of projects
- Working alongside the Technical Support Operations Manager, responsible to design and deliver new applications, enhancements to existing apps, and reporting capabilities, in-line with Business needs & global technology strategy
- Responsible to provide expert level project support to all reporting projects and activities across the portfolio
- Responsible to ensure successful cutover & roll-back for all enhancement & project implementations
- Responsible for transitioning new apps onto the Technical Support Operations team, following stabilization phase
- Travel to the varying portfolio locations in London and Greater London will be part of the role
- Travel outside of the UK will also be required, but limited to Project needs
