Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Guiding financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures
• Protecting assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls
• Monitoring and confirming financial condition by conducting audits; providing information to external auditors
• Producing yearly Budgets and Weekly & Monthly forecasts by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans based on status of financial condition
• Assisting the Cluster General Manager in running the weekly payroll forecast meetings by producing accurate data
• Preparing and reviewing month end journals
• Preparing and interpreting financial statements and reports of the hotel
• Coordinating and preparing financial information flow between Hotel, Hyatt and Owners
• Preparing and compiling monthly Owners packs
• Achieving budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
• Protecting operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential
• Preparing and updating Bank Reconciliation daily to maintain a cash flow
