Job Description
- Management of a portfolio commercial real estate loans including but not limited to:
- Review of loan documentation
- Engagement, review and approval of valuations
- Review, analysis and negotiation of loan modification requests and presentation of recommendations to investment committee if applicable.
- Review of lease/loans consent requests
- Review and approval of loan utilization requests
- Quarterly review of each transaction, including modelling of Expected Loss
- Provide input into underwriting assumptions for commercial real estate lending activities
- Research specific markets and industries, prepare white papers and present results
- Monitors market trends (secondary and primary)
- Day to day interaction with servicers and performance monitoring and evaluation
- Input into and support to various technology initiatives to develop the infrastructure being developed to support the activities above.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- University graduate (Real Estate based qualification preferred)
- Industry relevant certifications a positive
- Significant post graduate training within the Commercial Real Estate financing industry
- Good understanding of real estate development and finance
- Good understanding of the CRE loan management process
- Good understanding of CRE legal documents (financing, leases, insurance etc..)
- Experience of UK and/or pan European property markets
- Experience across all major real estate asset classes and development
- Knowledge of the financial services sector and capital markets instruments helpful
- Strong analytical skills
- Good team player

- Ability to organize and prioritize
- Client focused, ethical and accountable
- Very good presentation and communication skills
- Cash flow modelling of real estate transactions
