Job Description
The firm supports clients in achieving their goals by providing innovative solutions and financial advice, working collaboratively with them to help clients grow their respective businesses.
You will be assigned specific clients to deal with and will ensure that they are managed effectively and efficiently adhering to the current agreed procedures and software tools.
Accountancy duties
- Assisting with financial and management accounts preparation for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies
- Ensure information is processed in a timely manner using specialist on-line tools
- Ensure all clients receive a consistent high level of service
- Ensure accounts are produced to a consistent high standard and are passed to the Client Manager to be checked, signed and submitted
- Maintain compliance records
- Assisting with managing client expectations and deadlines
- Assisting with the preparation of personal and business tax returns
- Carrying out bookkeeping activities including journal postings and ledger reconciliations
- Processing client records accurately using Xero and other accountancy software
- Preparation of VAT returns and management accounts
- Deal with client phone calls adhering to company guidelines
- Deal with client correspondence following company guidelines
- Ensure client is contacted according to the guidelines for their category
- Escalate queries to Client Manager on same working day where appropriate
