Job Description

This particular role sits within the team who provide not only subject matter expertise but governance and oversight for the Managers Control Assessment. The Managers Control Assessment (MCA) is where all significant risks and controls, are captured and assessed.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure the correct Assessment Unit and MCA Governance entity structure
  • Ensure the Assessment Units have complete and accurate content
  • Provide guidance to Assessment Unit owners on content and ARCM attributes, particularly risk scoring, control types and monitoring tools
  • Coordinate the creation and governance of the Standard MCA Profiles applicable to Risk & Control
  • Review whether Enterprise MCA Profile (EMP) content has been adopted by Standard MCA Profile (SMP) Owners
  • Ensure SMP Owners have cascaded content correctly to the underlying assessment units
  • Maintain and EMP applicability matrix for ICG Risk & Controls
  • Review coverage of Managed Segment-level Key Operational Risks within the Standard MCA Profiles and assessment units
  • Assist with the completion of the Annual Risk and Quarterly Risk Assessments for all Rick & Control Assessment Units and MCA Governance Entities
  • Review all data quality metrics for the Risk & Control assessment units, working with the owners to ensure any gaps / exceptions are remediated on a timely basis

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Control, Compliance, Audit and/or Operational Risk experience
  • Relevant experience in risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and remediation will be an additional strength
  • Compliance, legal or regulatory background a plus
  • Strong Analytical skills and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of Risk and Control Self Assessments is an advantage.
  • Confident and concise verbal communications skills, including the ability to influence and negotiate with senior management
  • Experience managing / working on complex projects, with variable stakeholders and within tight deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong MS office knowledge including Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Strong Project Management Skills
  • Strategic thinker, strong analytical skills; both quantitative and qualitative
  • Ability to analyze problems and formulate conclusions and recommendations
