Payroll Administrator

Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to support our Accounts and Payroll department.
Assist with the weekly payrun in order to meet payroll deadlines and legal and contractual payroll obligations.
Process timesheets accurately, ensuring attention to detail at all times.
Resolve all payroll related queries efficiently and professionally so as to avoid any missed or late payments.
Communicate verbally with internal staff where problems are identified which may prevent payments being made on time.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and discuss with the Payroll Manager.
Carry out any post-payrun administration to ensure all records are complete and accurately maintained in accordance with Company process and statutory & legal requirements.
Assist senior team members and the Payroll Manager with any ad-hoc payroll duties when required.
Ensure all Payroll manuals are updated to allow a smooth payroll process in the event of absence or training new joiners.
Adhere to Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality Management System, RISQS (where appropriate) and Employment Legislation.

Previous weekly payroll experience
Computer literacy skills
Ability to organize and priorities tasks
Good verbal and written communication skills
Delivery of excellent customer experience
Ownership of self-development
