Job Description
  • Develop a global finance process, data, reporting, systems and change approach for implementing business change into all areas of Finance
  • Responsible for ensuring appropriate finance scope & design, functional & reporting requirements, stakeholder engagement & communication, testing & data validation & cutover scope, training & transition into business-as-usual and project management across all business change programmes & projects impacting finance
  • Represent Finance's holistic interests at key business change programme/project governance meetings, such as Working Groups, and ensure risks and issues are appropriately raised and remediated with company's best interests at Centre of mind
  • Support Head of Finance Business Change to ensure stakeholder, client and partner relationship management, acting as finance transformation ambassador at key senior-level meetings
  • Provide commercial insight, financial expertise, simplification and standardization of systems and processes globally
  • Deliver solutions to improve ability to meet reporting obligations and empower staff to make better business decisions
  • Partake in relevant Finance Change & Transformation prioritization sessions as well as representing finance interests at relevant cross-functional change meetings
  • Support and input into the Finance Change & Transformation roadmap, ensuring business change impacts are considered and reflected accordingly into finance change work streams to ensure the right priorities and solutions are delivered into Finance across the entire Finance Transformation journey
  • Work flexibly to support Finance Change & Transformation in delivering its priorities
  • Drive engagement and development across the Finance function as well as within the Finance Change & Transformation team, working with relevant stakeholders (e.g. PX) on meaningful action
  • Adopt a 'customer service delivery' approach to change management into Finance and the wider business, ensuring appropriate consideration and response to stakeholder concerns are addressed while providing challenge, utilizing your experience and knowledge, to ensure pragmatic and beneficial solutions to project implementation are found to support company growth and strategic ambitions

As with any project role, the specific responsibilities, deliverables and scope are variable. Ultimately, the role covers everything that needs to be delivered to ensure successful delivery of new ways of working that business change programmes/projects introduce to Finance, alongside associated business processes and terminology.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • An accounting qualification (preferably CIMA, ACCA or ACA)
  • Experience in working effectively cross-functionally e.g. with Finance, Commercial, SC, Tech etc. to identify opportunities and drive them to resolution, translate business issues into solutions that address complex situations
  • Ability to deal with highly demanding and complex delivery landscape
  • Ability to effectively priorities and deliver clear outputs to stakeholders to project deadlines
  • Flexible mindset
  • Meticulous attention to detail, superb organization skills, and strong sense of ownership
  • Experience with technical and commercial accounting considerations alongside ability to recognize where specialist areas will need to be consulted e.g. taxation, treasury, legal, CoSec and other similar areas
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization
  • Knowledgeable in agile/scrum methodology
  • Self-motivated, proactive, enthusiastic and results-focus
