Finance Assistant

Job Description
- First point of contact for accounts receivable enquiries
- Invoicing & recording payments
- Monitoring customer self-billing payments
- Ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments and reducing debtor days
- Liaising with sales team and other departments to resolve invoice queries
- Bank reconciliations
- Reconciling ecommerce transactions
- Assisting with month-end and other finance processes
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience within accounts receivable/credit control
- Good understanding of finance processes
- Experience with Accounting/ERP systems - knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and Xero would be beneficial
- Proactive and analytical with keen attention to detail
- Ability to evaluate & improve processes to ensure maximum efficiency
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Ability to work independently and use initiative to solve problems
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to prioritise workload
- UK Drivers Licence (travel to other sites)
