Job Description

You’ll be responsible for performance, planning and development across each area in finance including further developing the teams that we have in place. We operate in a new and growing industry and like to challenge conventional thinking, e.g. in Pricing and Credit - areas that you’ll have direct responsibility for. This role will give you the opportunity to design and own our performance in these and other areas as we continue to scale rapidly.

What you'll do?

• Own core finance in our scale-up leasing business
• Lead on the performance and output of teams in each area
• Write the roadmap for the function and ensure delivery
• Plan, hire and manage the team
• Be the voice for core Finance on our Senior Leadership Team
• Encourage a culture of collaboration
• Oversee all financial operations including statutory reporting, cash flow management, debtor management, financial performance, invoicing, asset purchasing, contract amendments and data input, and recording in our systems
• Own our Credit Policy and Underwriting team
• Oversee pricing working closely with Strategic Finance, Data and Growth

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Excellent experience with Finance, Credit & Underwriting and Pricing
• Ideally also experience with Equity, Debt and Hedging
• Be able to plan and scale teams and simple processes, including automation
• Be a good communicator, collaborator and team leader
• Be a problem solver that can take others with you on your decision making
• To enjoy and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment
• Accounting qualification is desired or CFA with a good understanding of how to account for financial leases
• Experience with FCA guidelines and requirements
