Job Description

You will have the opportunity to gain experience across both mainstream and commercial finance activities

Key responsibilities will also include the following

• Directly manage 3 direct reports as well as a wider team indirectly 
• Prepare and review the monthly management accounts; identify and explain monthly variances
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Group finance department, including AP, AR, internal controls, compliance and P&L analysis. 
• Develop, streamline and improve accounting systems and operations within the finance department
• Manage the audit process 
• Produce relevant commentary to highlight commercial risks and opportunities 
• Budgeting, forecasting, planning and analysis
• Support with ad hoc commercial and strategic work, ongoing analysis on an ongoing basis

The role is set to develop into a Head of Finance role and beyond as he business continues to invest and expand. We are seeking bright finance professionals who possess relevant post qualified experience - we are open to capable Finance Managers/ Financial Controllers from all sector backgrounds or alternatively bright ACA/ CA's making a first move from practice.
