Job Description

The primary responsibilities of this role will be;

  • Order placements (Projects, Consumables and Office Supplies)
  • Co-ordinate with suppliers for deliveries.
  • Chasing suppliers for material certificates
  • Scanning delivery notes
  • Communicate with end-user or suppliers as required.
  • Arranging returns.
  • Working on order status reports
  • Track order confirmation and deliveries.
  • Optimizing stocking strategies

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

  • Experience on the entire Supply Chain (Customer, Manufacturing, Supplier and Logistics)
  • Have a technical and analytical background
  • General Supply Chain Management skills
  • Experience in Sage50 Accounts
  • Demand Planning, Inventory and Materials Management or Logistics
  • Price, Contract and Payment negotiation with suppliers
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and independently
  • Possess excellent English language skills, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess excellent organisation skills
  • Ability to create good relationships with customers and suppliers
