Job Description
- Actively support and drive the Company initiative to reduce vehicle CO2 emissions whilst transitioning to the use of sustainable alternatives
- Work with the Directors to provide a strategy for future opportunities
- Ensure resource levels and experience are aligned to deliver expectations & objectives of the Company
- Implement and comply with necessary departmental policies and procedures
- Day to day management of the of regional transport and plant managers
- Workshop controller, working with the workshop lead, fleet servicing, vehicle, and plant repairs
- Ensure fleet remains up to date and compliant
- Remain informed and complaint with government updates and legislation in line with Business requirements
- Control of fleet finance
- Management of transport and plant related assets
- Enforcement of company policy and procedures
- Managing all aspects of driver issues, including but not limited to training, disciplinary, CPC
- Overview of damage / loss control and finance
- Undertake plant audits
- Rate reviews from suppliers
- Control of LOLER, PUWER
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of CLOCS
- Knowledge of ROSPA
- Knowledge of OCRS
- Knowledge of FORS
- Knowledge of plant master or similar desirable
- Knowledge of fleet management inc electric vehicles
- CPC Qualification
