The service is responsible for all aspects of operational finance and payroll with a full suite of reporting for internal and external stakeholders. The Finance team are implementing a new finance system which will create opportunities for enhanced business and finance processes across the charity.
You will be a member of the Senior Management Team and will support the COO(Chief Operating Officer) to provide effective and collaborative financial leadership in a growing and innovative charity.
You will lead the Finance team with overall management of financial and operational activities.
You will be responsible for financial controls, budgets, payroll, management reporting, external funder reporting, statutory audits and compliance.
As part of organizational development and in conjunction with the COO, you will set up a compliance function for the charity.
The post holder will work in partnership with different department leads including the Head of Quality and Service Excellence with a view of improving processes, controls and compliance.
