Job Description
  • Maintain the day-to-day management of a permit to work system for the estate.
  • Ensuring all contractors are booked in and all required compliant documentation (RAMS and Insurance etc.) is in place prior to a work permit being authorized, the permit to work applications are submitted via a

Permit Request online portal.

  • Liaising with Contractors, Retailers, Staff, and visitors.
  • Working alongside the Control Room Team to issue keys, signing contractors and staff in/out and issuing permits as necessary.
  • Managing incoming calls regarding permit queries, providing excellent customer service.
  • Ensure that you work in a safe manner observing the Company Health and Safety policy and procedures.
  • Communicate and maintain positive relationships with Team members, subcontractors, and the client.
  • Support the onsite Team with various administrative duties as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Computer literate with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software packages including Excel
  • IOSH Managing Safely desirable but can be provided
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Experienced Administrator
  • Articulate Communicator – both verbal and written
  • Confident & proactive multi-tasker
  • An ability to demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality always.
  • Strong organizational Skills
  • Team Worker
  • Previous knowledge of Working Safely, Risk Assessments and Method Statements but training will be given.

Experience:

  • business administration: 1 year (required)
