Job Description
  • Delivering the end-to-end processing of all company weekly and monthly payrolls 13 monthly payrolls plus 2 weekly payrolls including processing new starters and leavers, pay changes, updating the HR and Payroll database.
  • Interpreting several different sets of terms and conditions, in relation to sickness calculations/maternity/paternity etc. and providing manual forecasts in relation to maternity and sickness as required.
  • Producing regular and ad hoc payroll reports to meet internal and external obligations.
  • Ensuring that all payroll queries are responded to accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Delivering a managed service in relation to Auto Enrolment and the Groups pension scheme.
  • Validating and reconciling payments at month end for the Finance team.
  • Assist the Payroll Manager with the reconciliation of the Group PAYE (pay as you earn Tax).

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Excellent Planning and Organizational Skills.
  • Strong and positive team working.
  • Experience of working within a busy Admin department/ Customer Service environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing across the business.
  • Capable of prioritizing workload and work effectively to ensure that all deadlines are met.
  • High level of attention to detail required.
  • Ability to deal with sensitive issues and always maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent IT Skills including the Microsoft office suite.
